Men’s Golf and Women’s Bowling Earn NCAA Public Recognition Awards

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Saint Peter's men's golf and women's bowling teams have earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards for their multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR). The honor is bestowed on teams with an NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports in the Academic Year.

The men's golf team earned the honor for the fourth-straight year (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16), while women's bowling earned the honor for the fourth time overall (2004-05, 2010-11, 2011-12).

This is the 12th year of the NCAA Public Recognition program with the inaugural year in 2004-05. The Peacocks women's tennis team made the list for five-straight years from 2004-05 to 2009-10, while and the men's soccer team was on the list for three years in row from 2008-09 to 2010-11. The women's volleyball team received the honor two times for 2013-14 and 2014-15 and women's cross country earned the honor twice in 2004-05 and 2012-13. The women's track and field squad earned the honor in 2008-09.
