Five Peacocks Named to MAAC Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has unveiled its 2020 Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Wednesday. Five student-athletes from the Saint Peter's University women's cross country program were honored among the 110 total student-athletes conference-wide.

Seniors Lovely Francois and Grace Proctor, juniors Maleny Cajamarca and Iria Paz joined sophomore Tola Osipitan all represented the Saint Peter's contingent of elite academic performers. 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
The 2020 MAAC Cross Country Championships have been postponed to the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For all updates, follow #MAACXC on social media and visit maacsports.com.
