Two things you bring to the team: The ability to get outs as a left-handed pitcher and a strong work ethic

Who most influenced your athletic career and why: My coach of three years at the South Oakland A’s, Tony DeMonaco. He introduced me to the book Heads Up Baseball and helped me strengthen my mental game, without which I would not be playing baseball at the Division I level

Reason you chose your number: I had a choice between 14 and 33, and 33 just seems like a number that should be worn by a lefty

Pre-game Rituals: I don’t have any rituals, only routines. I listen to a certain pregame playlist on the bus ride to the game

Greatest Sports Memory: Throwing a no-hitter in a tournament when I was 16
