Eight Baseball Student-Athletes Named to MAAC All-Academic Team

NIAGARA FALLS, NY – The Saint Peter's University baseball team had eight student-athletes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic team, announced by the league office at the annual awards banquet.

The eight players include seniors DJ Nozza, Jake Regina, Kevin Soriano, and Paul Schifilliti, juniors Anthony Assante, Adam Hernandez, and Mike Ionta, and sophomore Steve Epstein.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
