BETHLEHEM, PA - Saint Peter's wrapped up the fall season at the Lehigh Golf Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 22nd in Bethlehem PA.
Dominic Diaz and Ryan Rodriguez led the Peacocks placing T10th with a score of (152,+8), Stanley Garrant followed with (153 +9), Jose Cardona posted a score of (161,+17) and Mike Winter added a score of (168,+24).
As a team, Saint Peter's placed 8th with a final score of (618,+42). MAAC rivals, Iona placed 10th overall and Manhattan finished last in the team standings. The Peacocks almost caught up to MAAC rival, Siena finishing 2 shots behind.
"Playing this Fall with 3 Freshmen and missing our top tier player for the fall season gives the team great confidence for the spring season's MAAC championship," said head coach Nick Dilio. "We have more work to do but our performance today gives us that confidence."

about the team… The Saint Peter's Men's Golf team hold two reigning MAAC golf Championships in 2014 and 2015 under the direction of Peter Falloon. The team boast a young team with four freshman, two sophomores, and one senior. Captain for the Peacocks, is senior Dominic Diaz.
about the coach… Head Coach Nick Dilio is a three-time NCAA qualifier, claiming the 2016 MAAC individual title. In the process of his collegiate career, he participated in the NCAA Regional action three consecutive years. As a junior he was a MAAC Runner-up and registered four top-15-and three-top-10 showings at the MAAC Championships. Dilio also made an appearance in the Porter Cup which is one of the top amature tournaments in the world. In previous years the Porter Cup hosted golf legends Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, David Duval, Ben Crenshaw, and Hal Sutton.
Director for the Men's Golf team is previous head coach, Peter Falloon. During his time as the head coach, he led the Peacocks to two consecutive MAAC Championships in 2014 and 2015. Falloon led Saint Peters in the NCAA Sugar Grove Regional in 2014 and the NCAA New Haven Regional in 2015. Three out of four years Falloon was named MAAC Coach of the year. Falloon part of the undefeated golf team in 1964 and was selected as
student-athlete of the year in 1965. He is now a member of the Saint Peter's Athletic Hall of Fame.
