Looking Forward to 2016

The Peacocks return 25 players from a year ago, with 19 of the returners having started in at least one game last season. Of the 25 returners, they accounted for 23 of the 24 goals scored in 2015 and bring back starting goalkeeper Jamie Cleland, who played every minute in goal last season for the Peacocks. Saint Peter's only loses two players from a year ago and add junior defenseman, Justin Bergman to the lineup.

The Saint Peter's Men's Soccer team was picked 10th in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Coaches Preseason Poll. Monmouth, the defending MAAC regular season champion, was selected as the preseason favorite with 120 points, followed by defending MAAC champion, Rider (103). Iona (94), Fairfield (86), and Siena (76) rounded out the Top-5 teams in the poll while Marist (57), Quinnipiac (51), Canisius (47), Manhattan (45), Saint Peter's (33) and Niagara (14) rounded out the poll.
