Men's Tennis Drops Close Decision To La Salle

The Saint Peter's University men's tennis squad nearly came away with a victory over La Salle University on the road, but were defeated 4-3. The Peacocks were tied with the Explorers at 3-3 following singles play, but dropped two of their three doubles matches for the loss.

Carlos Carrera picked up a win against La Salle's Chas Berenato at #1 singles by the scores of 6-1, 6-1. Marko Knezevic also won at #3 singles, 6-4, 6-4, against Trevor Donovan while Oliver Bellomi defeated Robert Kasinow 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 at #5. 

The team of Knezevic/Bellomi accounted for the lone Saint Peter's victory at doubles, against the La Salle duo of LaBate/Berenato (8-3).
