Men's Tennis Falls to Hofstra in Non-Conference Match

HEMPSTEAD, NY - The Saint Peter's University men's tennis team fell to Hofstra University at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center, 7-0 on Tuesday.

Results - Ivan Knezevic and Andres-Sebastian Rojas lost 6-2 to Coco Haener and Niko Vulinovich at the top doubles position. Gabriel Russotto and Cuong Lam were defeated by Marcus Smith and Jan Leithner, 6-1, at No. 2 doubles. No. 3 doubles, Douglas Nover and Jonathan Paredes, fell 6-2 to Nick Silvestri and David Schrott. Knezevic battled hard but lost 6-2, 6-3 against Smith at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Rojas was defeated by Vulinovich, 6-0, 6-0. Nover lost to Leithner, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 3 singles. Russotto fell 6-1, 6-3 at the fourth singles position to Haener. Paredes was dropped by Schrott, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 5 singles. Lam lost by identical set scores, 6-2, 6-2, to Silvestri at the lowest singles position.
