JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University men's and women's tennis teams hit the road again on Saturday, October 14, for a MAAC match at Quinnipiac University. First serve is scheduled for noon in Hamden, Connecticut.
Last Time Out - The men's team fell, 5-2, to Fordham University on October 7th while the women's team had their match at Wagner on the following day cancelled due to rain. Hector Andres Jacome and John Oxner won No. 1 doubles and No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively.
Scouting - The Bobcats men's tennis team have only participated in tournaments. Their MAAC play opener at Rider was cancelled on October 12. The Bobcats women's tennis team is 1-1 on the year with a win against MAAC foe, Rider University, which makes them 1-0 in conference play, as well.
History - The men's tennis team has never beaten Quinnipiac since they joined the MAAC in 2013. Likewise, the women's team has never won against Quinnipiac since the 2013-2014 season, when they joined the conference. Quinnipiac women's tennis team has won the MAAC tournament and went to the NCAA tournament for the past four years.
