Saint Peter's Set To Host Fan Appreciation Day At Jaroschak Field On Saturday

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's University will celebrate Fan Appreciation Day during its baseball and softball doubleheaders at Jaroschak Field on Saturday. During the afternoon, there will be a hot dog, ice cream and cotton candy carts. The food will be free and courtesy of Saint Peter's Student Activities. 

The Peacocks baseball team will start a three-game series with Marist on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. The two teams will start the day with a nine-inning contest before concluding the afternoon with a seven-inning affair. The final game of the three-game series will be played on Sunday starting at 12 p.m.

On the other diamond, the Saint Peter's softball team will conclude its 2013 season with a twinbill against Iona. First pitch is also 12 p.m. After the nightcap, the softball team will honor seniors Shelby Beaver (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown), Alexis Gallagher (Narvon, Pa./Garden Spot) and Sierra Parker (Chino Hills, Calif./Caldwell College).
