Feoli Leads the Peacocks in Loss Against Siena

LOUDONVILLE, NY-  Nicole Feoli led the Peacocks with three runs and two stolen bases in a double header loss to Siena. The Peacocks dropped the first game 6-1 and the second game 10-2.

"We are seeing a lot positive change here as we go into the final stretch of the season," said head coach Chris Stelma. "The girls are learning to drive towards their goals every day."

Game 1

Sidney Ramsey pitched a full game for the Peacocks. Brianna Hutchinson led the team with a double and a RBI while Nicole Feoli logged a stolen base and a scoreed run.

The Peacocks scored their lone run in the top of the first. Feoli singled to left side then later stole a base and headed for home plate after Hutchinson hit a double to left center. The Saints then tied the Peacocks, 1-1 and went on to win the game 6-1.

Game 2

Feoli led the team with two runs and a stolen base while Alina Guevara tallied two RBI's.

The Peacocks scored their first run in the top of the first. Feoli hit a single then stole second to advance. Following her, Guevara hit a single up the middle, Feoli scored a run and the Peacocks led the Saints 1-0.

In the top of the third the Peacocks continued to lead 2-0 after Guevara hit a sac fly to second base which allowed Feoli to score another run, 2-0.

The Saints came back to cut the deficit and won the game 10-2.

Next Up

The Peacocks will head over to Poughkeepsie, NY to face the Marist Red Foxes on Sunday, April 29. The doubleheader will start at 12 p.m.
