Women's Bowling Wraps Up the Red Flash Invitational

ALTOONA, PA – The Saint Peter's women's bowling team finished in 12th place in the Red Flash Invitational this past weekend.

"I was extremely proud of them for pulling out a win after a double roll off, said head coach Jen Houseward. "Hopefully with a week off we can focus on some things at practice and do better at the Golden Bear Classic." 
On Friday, the Peacocks finished baker matchups, defeating Pitt Bradford, 792-690. The team finished the day scoring (778, 738, 777, 746, 792) totaling 3,876 pins.

On Saturday, the Peacocks competed in traditional play with a win against NJCU, scoring (784, 802, 755, 722, 771) with a total of 3,834 pins.

On the final day, Sunday, the Peacocks competed in bracket matchups, defeating St. Vincent in round one for 13th place. In round two the Peacocks were triumphant over Wilmington in a double roll-off for the 12th spot. In the final round, the Peacocks went on to fight for 11th place against LIU Post but dropped the contest and finished in 12th place.

Saint Peter's will resume play at the Golden Bear Classic on February 9-11.
