Men's Soccer Concludes Season in MAAC Quarterfinals
The Saint Peter's University men's soccer team had its 2020-21 season come to an end earlier this week, as the team was defeated, 1-0, by Fairfield in the final minutes of the MAAC Men's Soccer Championship Quarterfinal. The game featured tough conditions with constant wind and rain, and went most of its duration without a score from either side. The Stags were able to find the back of the Saint Peter's net in the 89th minute though, ending the Peacocks' third straight playoff run. READ MORE

Sophomore jumper and sprinter Jabari Higgs-Salaam of the Saint Peter's University men's track & field team was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the league on April 15. READ MORE

Saint Peter's University men's soccer senior forward Jordan Jowers and women's basketball redshirt-senior Taiah Thornton have been named Peacocks of the Month. Both Jowers and Thornton had strong showings in their respective fields of play over the past month, leading to the recognition. READ MORE

King Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week
Sophomore sprinter/hurdler, Jayaire King, began his outdoor season with a tremendous performance at the Charles E. Davis Relays at Lincoln Park on March 27, leading to his being named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week on March 31. READ MORE

Laws Named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
Senior forward Dominic Laws was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league on April 6. Laws tallied three goals and one assist over the Peacocks' three games in that week, accounting for seven points. READ MORE

Seventeen Saint Peter's University first-year student-athletes were recognized during the University's Freshman Achievement Ceremony, which was held virtually on March 22. READ MORE

Ndefo Tops NCAA in Blocked Shots
With the 2020-21 season concluding on April 5, Saint Peter's junior forward KC Ndefo led all of NCAA Division I in blocked shots, according to the NCAA annual final stats released on Tuesday. Ndefo finished his stellar junior campaign averaging 3.64 blocks per game, edging distant second place finisher, seven-footer Dajour Dickens of Hampton who averaged 3.38 rejections. READ MORE
