Avosuahi Albert, a senior sprinter on the track & field program, finished the first month of the indoor track season with a first-place finish in the 400-meters race at the Yale Season Openers in New Haven on Dec. 7. She was one of two runners to finish in under a minute (58.13 seconds). Her time is the second-fastest time in the MAAC Conference this season, just two seconds the league leader. Her time was also two seconds faster than her showing at the same event the previous season, (1:00.21 at 2018 Yale Opener).
