The Department is further committed to providing an environment that is totally free of physical, psychological, verbal, or sexual harassment. The Department disapproves of all acts or patterns of sexual harassment of employees and students, regardless of whether they are participants in any federally funded program, and will not tolerate violations of the laws pertaining to such acts by any employee. It is the policy of the University and the Department to take immediate remedial action, when facts are brought to the attention of the appropriate University official.
