Peacocks Assistant Coach Jon Conway Featured in Star Ledger; Will Start in Goal for Red Bulls Tonight at Columbus on ESPN2

Saint Peter's College men's soccer assistant coach Jon Conway was featured in today's Star Ledger and is preparing for a MLS match between the NY Red Bulls and the Columbus Crew tonight in Columbus, OH. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Conway joined the Peacock staff after the hiring of his college teammate Guy Abrahamson as the head coach. Conway was an All-American goalkeeper at Rutgers University before being drafted by San Jose in the 2000 SuperDraft. Conway spent five seasons in San Jose, before being traded to New York. He has spent the past three seasons with the Red Bulls and has been the starting keeper for the entire season. He has brought his professional knowledge and expertise to Saint Peter's and helped develop all of the Peacock goalkeepers over the past two seasons.
