JERSEY CITY, NJ - Sakara House has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie-Of-The-Week.
The Peahens three-game MAAC winning streak is directly related to the playing performance of freshman Sakara House. Already among the national and conference leader in steals, House stepped up her offensive efforts by scoring 14 points against Iona and 16 points against Rider this weekend. House recorded seven assists, nine steals and a block on the weekend while hauling in 15 rebounds from the point-guard position, as the Peahens continue to climb in the MAAC standings.
