Monday was an off day for the Peacocks as we checked out of the hotel in Colorado Springs and embarked on our three hour drive north to Greeley, CO. We stopped off at a diner on the way, which was owned by Broncos fans, so naturally they gave me a hard time when I put my Chargers jacket on. We finally reached our hotel around 3pm, and headed over to University of Northern Colorado to practice on their outdoor courts and get used to playing outside again and at a lower altitude (still around 5,000 feet up though). We then went to get Carls Jr. Burgers, as most of the guys on the team haven't had them before since it is a west coast chain, and man it made me miss home. We called it an early night as we play University of Northern Colorado on Tuesday morning. After the match we will head to the airport to fly back home.
