Thursday, July 8, 2010
JERSEY CITY, NJ - Saint Peter's College Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott announced today that Ranae Bart has been named the new softball head coach. Bart comes to Saint Peter's after serving as an assistant coach at Rider University for the previous three seasons.

"We are excited to have an individual with Ranae's (Bart) experience and knowledge leading our softball program," said Elliott. "Her experience in Division I, especially in the MAAC will be invaluable to the program."

Prior to her time at Rider, Bart was the head coach at Westwood Regional High School for four years and was the head coach of the Westwood UGALS Summer League in 2006. Bart is also the operations manager of the Westwood Health and Fitness Club, a position she has held for the past 15 years.

Bart is a 2002 graduate of Seton Hall University where she helped lead the Pirates to the Big East Championship and the NCAA Softball Tournament.
