Turczynski becomes the first member of the Saint Peter's women's bowling team to win the NEC Rookie of the Week award twice. Current teammates Vicky Alaimo won the first-ever NEC Rookie Bowler of the Week award to start the 2008-09 season, and VJ Turner won it last season for the week ending November 3rd.
Saint Peter's (21-2) heads to Wallingford, CT to compete in the first NEC matches of the 2011-12 season. The Bowling Peahens will face all nine conference rivals in traditional team matches spread over Saturday and Sunday.
