The Saint Peter's University Golf Team captured the 2012 ECAC Championhip this afternoon, shooting a second round total of 308, holding off Navy by six total strokes. The Peacocks came into play today with a three shot lead. Overall Saint Peter's shot a team total of 598.
Eric Edmunds won the Individual Championship, shooting a 2-under 142 for the two day tournament. He shot a 70 in round one and a 72 in round two. Teammate Andrew Gain finished second overall after a 1-over 145 score for the tournament. Nick Dilio finished 11th, Brian Grubbs finished 13th and Brandon Molson finished 17th.
Saint Peter's will return to the links on Sunday as they travel to Binghamton, NY for the Binghamton Invitational.
