Reigning MAAC Golfer of the month, Eric Edmunds led the Peacocks to a first place finish at the Monmouth Quad Match yesterday evening with his second individual title of the year. Edmunds shot an even-par 71 to claim top honors, while the team finished with an overall score of 17-over 301. The Peacocks clinched first place over host Monmouth University, who finished in second place with a score of 304 (+20). Fairleigh Dickinson (312, +28) and Lafayette (324, +40) took home third and fourth place, respectively.
Other than Edmunds, Saint Peter's also got top-ten finishes from Luke Previte, Brian Grubbs and Brandon Molson. Previte finished tied for 7th with Connor Hamilton of FDU, who both recorded scores of 5-over 76. Grubbs and Molson both tied for 9th, with identical scores of 6-over 77.
The Peacocks will compete in their final tournament of the fall this weekend (October 21st/22nd) at the Seton Hall St. Barnabas Health Invitational.
