Trailing Long Island University-Brooklyn by just four shots, the Saint Peter's University men's golf team currently sits at second place following the first day of the 2012 Barnabas Health Intercollegiate. The squad has combined for an aggregate score of 11-over 295.
Sophomore Brian Grubbs and freshman Nicholas Dilio lead the Peacocks as they are both tied for 3rd, along with Josh Waters of LIU. Grubbs finished the day with a score of 72 (35-37), while Dilio also shot a 72 (36-36). All three third place finishers were 1-over-par.
Senior Andrew Gain rounded out the top-twenty finishers for the Peacocks, coming in at 18th with a score of 75 (37-38, +4).
The Peacocks will conclude their fall season with the second day of 2012 Barnabas Health Intercollegiate today.
