Senior Sylvester Inda led the Peacocks this weekend at the NJIT Highlander Meet, finsihing in third place with a time of 26:13.77. Sophomore Edwin Young also recorded a top-ten finish, coming in seventh place and crossing the finish line in 27:00.15.
Freshman Lance Weaver and sophomore Mohamed Merdan rounded out the top four for the Peacocks, coming in thirteenth and fourtheenth, respectively.
On the women's side, freshman Devon Carman led the way coming in sixth with a time of 20:14.98. Natalia Carvalho finished in tenth (20:53.61), Soila Santos and Selena Marshall finished fifteenth and sixteenth, respectively.
The Peacocks return to action on October 15th, as they compete at the St. John's Invitational in Queens, NY.
