The Peahens (0-9) were defeated by the Bryant Bulldogs (2-5) Monday afternoon by a score of 7-3. Saint Peter's led the Bulldogs 2-1 heading into the second inning but Bryant would outscore the Peahens by a 6-1 margin in the remaining frames to secure the victory. Erica Colon gave up 6 hits, 6 walks and 5 earned runs in 4.2 innings to receive the loss.

Saint Peter's got on the board in the first by way of an RBI double by Krystine Rice to bring in Taylor Corretjer and Alexis Gallagher who both singled on to start the inning. The Peahens scored their last run of the game in the third inning, when Nicole Olmedo doubled in Gallagher from second.

The Bulldogs scored their runs in the first five innings, being held scoreless in the last two. Both teams recorded 6 hits and 2 errors in the contest.

Olmedo led the team offensively going 2-2 with an RBI, while Gallagher went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Krystine Rice finished 1-3 with a team-high 2 RBI.

 
The Peahens return to action on Thursday, March 14th, when they take on Wisconsin-Green Bay at 1pm.
