Recap:

The Saint Peter's College baseball team fell to Temple University Friday afternoon by a score of 4-1. Justyn Carter led the Peacocks going 3-4 and scored the team's only run. Matt Yuhas received the loss after giving up 7 hits, 4 earned runs and 4 walks in 6 innings.

Temple got on the board in the third, scoring by way of an RBI single. The Owls added three more markers in the following inning to take a 4-0 advantage. Saint Peter's scored their lone run in the top of the 8th as Carter reached first on a base hit and proceeded to steal second. A double by William Rawson brought home the run.

The Peacocks out-hit the Owls 8-7, with both teams leaving six runners on base. Saint Peter's also committed 2 errors in the contest.

William Rawson also had multi-hit game, finishing 2-4 from the plate with SPC's only RBI. Brian Koster, Alberto Rodriguez and Matt Speckman each finished with a hit.

The Peacocks return to action tomorrow, as they take on La Salle at 12pm.
