The Peacocks (1-9) dropped the final contest of their three-game series against the Richmond Spiders (6-3) by a score of 8-2. After scoring first in the third inning, Saint Peter's maintained a slim one-run lead and kept the Spiders scoreless until the sixth frame, when the hosts recorded four runs on three hits and an SPC error. Zach Hopf pitched 5.2 innings for the Peacocks and gave up 4 hits, 2 earned runs while walking two and striking out 5 to receive the loss.

After Russ Stupienski singled on to start the third, an RBI double by Preston Aldridge in the next at bat gave Saint Peter's a 1-0 lead. Chris Grimes would walk to have runners on first and second for SPC, but the Spiders achieved three quick outs to retire the side.

Saint Peter's held their advantage till the sixth, when Richmond's Jacob Mayers connected on a three-run homerun down the left field line. The Spiders recorded their fourth and last run of the inning on a wild pitch. Richmond picked up one run in the next inning and three more in the third to head into the ninth with an 8-1 lead.

The Peacocks added their last marker of the game off an RBI single from Stupienski to score Nicholas Gonzalez.
