Box Score 2 ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint Peter's lost two contests at the Rebel Games in non-conference softball action on Thursday. The Peacocks (3-18) fell 7-0 to Albany and 13-2 in five innings to Lehigh on the day.
Francesca D'Amato (Lyndhurst, N.J./Immaculate Conception) and Taylor Corretjer (Theills, N.Y./North Rockland) each had a base hit and a run scored while Chelsea Crews (Seattle, Wash./Mountlake Terrace) added a hit and an RBI on the afternoon for Saint Peter's.
Lehigh scored in each inning after posting three runs in the first, five in the second, four in the third and one in the fourth to earn the 13-2 five-inning victory.
The Peacocks got on the scoreboard with two runs in the third. Corretjer opened the inning with a double and touched home on Lee Harrison's (Las Vegas, Nev./Coronado) sacrifice fly to left. D'Amato then walked and moved to third on Sierra Parker's single before D'Amato crossed the plate on Chelsea Crews' RBI single to trim the margin to 8-2.
Harrison took the loss in the nightcap.
In the opener against Albany, the Great Danes scored a run in the first, two in the fifth and four times in the seventh to come away with the 7-0 victory.
Albany had retired 19-straight Peacocks before D'Amato broke up the perfect game with a single to center field.
Shelby Beaver (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) took the loss in the first game.
Saint Peter's conclude the Rebel Games on Saturday with two games. The Peacocks will battle North Dakota at 1 p.m. and then end its 10-game stretch in Florida against Columbia at 3 p.m.
