Women's Tennis Completes Day 1 Of West Point Invitational

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Saint Peter's women's tennis team completed Day 1 of the West Point Invitational on Sept. 27.

The tournament consists of several schools, including Saint Peter's, Seton Hall, Quinnipiac, Fordham, Army and others.

In singles play, senior Vanessa Vogel was defeated in her opening match of the tournament. Freshman Elena Puigventos was also defeated in her opening tournament debut as well.

Saint Peter's continue its action in the West Point Invitational, which concludes on Sept. 29.
