JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's University Director of Athletics Joe Quinlan has announced the Fall 2013 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
In order to qualify for the academic team, a student-athlete must complete the semester with a minimum 3.3 grade-point average.
"We are proud of our student-athletes and the effort they have shown academically", says Quinlan. "They have demonstrated great focus in balancing their work on the field, and in the classroom."
Baseball placed the most student-athletes onto the team with 16 selections. Women's track notched 10 selections, while softball, women's soccer and the men and women's tennis team each recorded nine student-athletes each.
Men's soccer and women's basketball each placed five student-athletes. Men's track tallied four selections. Women's bowling notched three selections, followed by men's basketball with two selections and golf with one.
The honor roll includes 11 student-athletes who finished the semester with a 4.0 grade point average. The list includes Adam Purcilly (baseball), Kevin Croucher (baseball), Nicholas Riepe (swimming), Carlos Carerra (tennis), Tom Jottrand (tennis), Sunita Kumar (track), Stephanie Gilronan (softball), Aimee Schnecker (softball), Ivana Grbelja (tennis), Vanessa Vogel (tennis) and Amanda Colombo (volleyball).
