>> Veteran's Appreciation Day - Any member of the military will be admitted to the game free with proper identification.

ITEMS OF NOTE: GAME 3
>> Thursday's game between Saint Peter's and Niagara marks the 77th meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 1936-37 season.
>> The Purple Eagles lead the series 47-29 and the two teams split the season series in 2013-14 with each team winning on its home floor. The Purple Eagles downed the Peacocks 61-57 on Dec. 8, 2013 and then Saint Peter's defeated Niagara 71-67 in the regular season finale on Mar. 2, 2014.
>> The Peacocks will play a conference game in November for the first time in program history. >> Saint Peter's is 17-16 in the inaugural league game of the year, including 6-7 at the Yanitelli Center.
>> The squad is 3-5 in the first league game of the year under head coach John Dunne.
>> The two teams will play the first league game of the year against each other for the third time and the second time at the Yanitelli Center.
>> Desi Washington scored 18 points, including seven points in the final four minutes and 15 seconds to propel the Peacocks past Niagara 71-67 on Mar. 2, 2013.
>> Marvin Dominique added 17 points and Chris Burke added 12 points in his final regular season game.
>> Antoine Mason fueled the Purple Eagles with 20 points while Marvin Jones (17 points) and Wesley Myers (11 points) also found double figures in the last meeting.
>> Saint Peter's comes into the game 0-2 after falling 51-50 to Hartford on Sunday.
>> Dominique paced the Peacocks with 19 points and 14 rebounds for his 13th career double-double. The senior leads the team with 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.
>> Trevis Wyche added eight points and four assists against the Hawks.
>> Quadir Welton ranks second on the team with 11.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game after posting 16 points and seven rebounds against Brown on Nov. 14.
>> Niagara comes into the tilt 0-1 after falling 78-45 at Pitt on Nov. 14.
>> Emile Blackmon paced the Purple Eagles with 16 points and Ramone Snowden added eight points against the Panthers.

WHAT'S TRENDING
>> Senior Marvin Dominique notched 13th career double-double against Hartford after finishing the game with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Dominique has tallied double figures in each of his last 15 games and posted five double-doubles in that stretch.
>> Sophomore Trevis Wyche added eight points and four assists against the Hawks. Wyche fueled the team in assists for the first time this season after leading the team 26 times last year as a freshman.
>> Sophomore Chazz Patterson made his first collegiate start and recorded four points and three rebounds in a career-high 33 minutes on Sunday.  The sophomore only scored over four points three times as a freshman in 2012-13, but already has a seven-point game and a four-point performance on his resume this year.
>> Saint Peter's has started the season 0-2 for the fifth time under head coach John Dunne, but the 2010-11 team also lost the first two games of the year and came back to win the MAAC Tournament.
>> The Peacocks started the season with two games on the road for the first time since the 2010-11 season and for the third time under Dunne.

COMFORTS OF HOME
>> Saint Peter's will play six of its next 10 games at the Yanitelli Center and will have five of seven games in Jersey City starting with the two day Barclays Classic Tournament on Nov. 28-29.
>> The Peacocks went 8-5 last season at home and have won at least seven games at the Yanitelli Center four times under head coach John Dunne.
>> Saint Peter's won its last five home games last season, including a 71-67 win against Niagara in the final home game last season.
>> The squad is 25-8 in home openers since joining the MAAC in 1981-82 and 5-3 in the inaugural home game of the year under Dunne.
>> Saint Peter's lost 64-59 to Hampton in last year's season opener.

CLOSE CONTESTS
>> Saint Peter's is 8-9 in one-point games under head coach John Dunne in his nine seasons in Jersey City and 36-37 in games decided by five points or less.
>> The Peacocks were 7-5 in games decided by five points or less last season and 3-1 in tilts decided by one point.
>> The squad is 0-1 this year in one-point games after falling 51-50 to Hartford on Nov. 16.

PRESEASON HONORS
>> Senior Marvin Dominique was named to the All-MAAC Preseason first team. The senior averaged 16.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game last season.
>> Senior Desi Washington was selected to the All-MAAC Preseason second team. Washington was second on the squad with 13.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
>> Saint Peter's was picked fourth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll. Iona, Siena and Manhattan were the three teams picked ahead of the Peacocks.

MILESTONE WATCH
>> Senior Desi Washington scored his 1,000th point in against Canisius on Jan. 3, 2014 of his junior campaign. Washington is now closing in on 1,000 points in his Saint Peter's career, needing 131 points to reach the grand total in his three seasons in Jersey City.
>> Senior Marvin Dominique has 718 points in his career between Fordham and Saint Peter's, needing 282 points this season to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career. Dominique scored 514 points last season in his first campaign in Jersey City.

DOMINANT DOMINIQUE
>> Senior Marvin Dominique has recorded double figures in 31 of the 33 games in a Peacocks uniform. He has posted at least 15 points in 16 of those contests, 20 points in nine tilts and  30 points in one game.
>> Dominique has also been a force on the boards, notching 13 games with double-digits in boards and in each of those games also registered a double-double.
>> The senior notched a career-high 31 points along with 14 rebounds in his first game in a Saint Peter's uniform against LIU Brooklyn on Nov. 9, 2013.
>> He had a career-high 16 boards against Niagara on Dec. 3, 2013.
>> Dominique has recorded double figures in points  for all 11 non-conference games at Saint Peter's.

NO COMPLAINTS FROM LUCY
>> Senior Desi Washington has scored double figures 50 times in his Saint Peter's career, including 26 times with 15 points or more, 10 games with at least 20 points and two 30-point performances. >> The senior is also a threat from behind the arc, leading the team in 3-pointers in a game 47 times.
>> Washington scored a career-high 34 points against Seton Hall on Dec. 14, 2013.

ASSISTING WYCHE
>> Sophomore Trevis Wyche has fueled the team in assists in 27 of the 33 games in his career. >> Wyche had a career-best eight helpers against Kent State on Nov. 17, 2013.
>> He also fueled the team in steals 14 times and notched a personal-best three thefts three times.
>> Wyche recorded double figures in points 13 times in his career.
>> The sophomore notched a career-best 16 points in both contests against Quinnipiac last season.

WELTON STEPPING UP
>> Sophomore Quadir Welton has posted five games with at least 10 points and three games with at least 10 rebounds.
>> The sophomore has reached a personal-best 16 times in his career and both instances came in the first game of the season. Welton had 16 points in his collegiate debut against LIU Brooklyn on Nov. 9, 2013 and then matched the total against Brown on Nov. 14, 2013.
>> The sophomore reached a career-best 11 boards twice in his career.

THE NEWCOMERS
>> Last season, Saint Peter's welcomed seven new players to the team. This season head coach John Dunne has added four players to the fray.
>> Junior Simeon Dennis and sophomore Travis Hester both joined the team after playing at a Community College while freshmen Elisha Boone and Rodney Hawkins both come into their first collegiate experience.
>> Hawkins will have to sit out the first semester due to NCAA Division I transfer regulations. Hawkins attended Delaware State for a semester last year, but did not play for the Hornets prior to coming to Saint Peter's.

THE 20-POINT CLUB
>> Seniors Marvin Dominique and Desi Washington are the only two players on the roster that have posted a 20-point game in their career in Jersey City.
>> Dominique has scored at least 20 points in a game 10 times in his career and that includes one 30-point performance.
>> Washington has also registered 10 games with at least 20 points in his Peacocks career, including two 30-point contests.
>> Senior Jamel Fields has also posted 20 points in his career, but he accomplished the mark while he played at Fairfield.
>> Saint Peter's is 37-38 when a player has a 20-point performance under head coach John Dunne.
>> A player has scored at least 30 points in a game five times under Dunne.

BOARDS UP
>> Senior Marvin Dominique and sophomore Quadir Welton are the only players on the roster that have reached double-figures in rebounds.
>> Dominique has posted 10+ rebounds 13 times in his career while Welton has done it three times.
>> Senior Kris Rolle came close to reaching double-digit boards when he hauled in nine caroms against Siena on Jan. 23, 2013.

DOUBLE VISION
>> Senior Marvin Dominique and sophomore Quadir Welton are the only players on the roster that have posted double-doubles in their career.
>> Dominique leads the team with 13 double-doubles in his career while Welton has one double-double in career.

WASHINGTON AND ESPN
>> Senior Desi Washington hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the final 3.3 seconds of a game four times last year.
>> After he hit the game-winning 3-pointer in a 55-52 overtime win against Fairfield in the MAAC Tournament First Round, Washington was the buzz on ESPN for the next couple of days.
>> Sports Center showed all three game-winners right before its nightly Top-10 on Mar. 6 and then the live edition of Sports Center produced a three-minute segment the next morning where the guard's heroics against the Stags were compared to Reggie Miller against the Knicks, Eli Manning against the Patriots and David Ortiz against the Yankees. The ESPN show Around The Horn had a short segment on Washington on and College Game Day also touched on the subject. >> Washington's first game-winner against Fairfield in the regular season was the No. 9 Play of the Day in the Top-10 countdown.
>> Washington's heroics were also covered by Yahoo Sports and Sports Illustrated.
>> The senior also hit the game-winning 3-pointer in an 83-80 overtime win against Seton Hall to end a 17-game losing streak against the Pirates, but that shot did not get the fan fare that the three against Fairfield received.

ALL IN THE FAMILY
>> Senior Kris Rolle and sophomore Quadir Welton both have relatives that have seen time in the professional ranks.
>> Rolle's cousin is New York Giants' safety Antrel Rolle. The safety was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals before he signed a five-year contract with the Giants in 2010 and was a member of the Super Bowl XLVI championship team.
>> Welton's uncle is former NBA star Rasheed Wallace. Wallace played 16 seasons in the NBA for Washington (1995-96), Portland (1996-04), Atlanta (2004), Detroit (2004-09), Boston (2009-10) and New York Knicks (2012-13). Wallace, a four-time All-Star won an NBA title with Detroit in 2004.

>> Assistant Coaches Marlon Guild, Matt Henry and Serge Clement all return back to the bench for head coach John Dunne.
>> Guild has been on Dunne's staff for seven of his nine seasons while Henry and Clement both return for their second season in Jersey City.
>> Greg Van Pelt joins the staff in 2014-15 as the Director of Basketball Operations. He replaces Ryan Patrick Woerner.
