GAME EIGHT… Saturday's matchup between Saint Peter's and Loyola marks the 60th meeting in the all-time series.
- Saint Peter's is 38-21 all-time against the Greyhounds dating back to their time as MAAC-opponents.
- Loyola defeated Saint Peter's 66-65 on a last-second field goal as time expired.
- Antonia Smith paced the Peacocks with a game-high 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting.
- Marcia Senatus recorded a career-high 13 points.
- Bridget Whitfield finished with four points and seven rebounds.

ABOUT THE GREYHOUNDS… Loyola comes into Saturday's matchup 1-7 overall this season.
- The Greyhounds are coming off an 82-33 loss to East Carolina on Dec. 9.
- Loyola's lone win came against Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 6.
- Junior G Colleen Marshall paces Loyola in points with 13.6 per game.
- Freshman G Bri Betz-White is the team's second leading scorer averaging 8.6 points a game.
- Junior F Jeneh Perry is the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8.3 boards per contest.
- Loyola is shooting 30.4% on the season and yielding a 47.9% shot percentage to opponents.
COYLE RETURNS TO REITZ… Saturday's contest highlights head coach Pat Coyle's return to Reitz Arena for the first time as a head coach.
- Coyle served as women's basketball head coach from 1993-98.
- Coyle's 100-77 record and .565 winning percentage in her six seasons in Baltimore rank second in team history.
- Coyle guided the Greyhounds to their only two MAAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in 1993-'94 and 1994-95'.

GAME NINE… Sunday's matchup against Navy marks the fifth meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 1979-80 campaign.
- Navy snapped a three-game losing streak against the Peacocks with a 70-51 win last year in Jersey City.
- Both Whitfield and Smith scored in double-figures.
- Hala Mostafa and Kaycee DeVoogd scored four points each in the loss.
- The Midshipmen outrebounded Saint Peter's 39-22 in the previous meeting a year ago.
ABOUT THE MIDSHIPMEN… Navy comes into Sunday's matchup 5-5 overall this season.
- The Midshipmen are on a two-game losing streak, coming off a 72-64 loss to Oregon on Dec. 6.
- Freshman G Taylor Dunham is the team's leading scorer, averaging 9.4 points per game.
- Freshmen F Sarah Reilly is the team's top rebounder and second leading scorer, averaging 8.1 points and 6.9 rebounds a game.
LAST TIME OUT… The Peacocks return to action following a 76-59 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Jan. 10.
- Alyssa Velles paced the Peacocks with 11 points.
- Sajanna Bethea recorded 10 points and eight rebounds, while Whitfield and Senatus scored nine points each.
- Neechelle Ingram tallied six points and six rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
NEXT ON TAP… Saint Peter's returns to the Yanitelli Center for a three-game home stand beginning on Dec. 28 against Lafayette. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
- The Peacocks return to MAAC play after the New Year on Jan. 2 against hOURglass rival Rider.
AGAINST THE PATRIOT LEAGUE… Saint Peter's is 80-36 all-time against Patriot League opponents.
FRESHMEN IMPACT… In every game this season, a freshman has paced the Peacocks in either points or rebounds.
GO-TO VELLES… Velles has paced Saint Peter's in scoring in four of seven games this season including the last two contests.
- Velles has scored eight points or more in her last four games.
COLLEGIATE DEBUTS… Sajanna Bethea, Samantha Meier, Alyssa Velles and Talah Hughes all made their collegiate debuts against Stony Brook on Nov. 15.
- Bethea paced the Peacocks in her collegiate debut, scoring 13 points and grabbing eight boards.
- Meier tallied eight points and three blocks in her collegiate debut.
- Velles finished with a game-high four assists in her first collegiate action.
- Hughes recorded two rebounds in 10 minutes of action.
CLIMBIN' UP THE RECORD BOOKS… In her first two seasons at Saint Peter's, Hala Mostafa has amassed 80 blocks. She is currently ninth all-time in program history.
- Mostafa trails Elyse Siciliano (2003-07) for eighth all-time in blocks. Siciliano is currently eighth with 87 blocks.
PRESEASON POLL… Saint Peter's was picked 11th in the MAAC Preseaon Coaches Poll. Marist and Quinnipiac finished tied with 112 points to be selected as preseason co-favorites. Iona, Fairfield, Niagara, Rider, Manhattan, Canisius, Monmouth, Siena and Saint Peter's rounded out the 11-team poll.
THE SCHEDULE… Saint Peter's will play 14 games at the Yanitelli Center and 15 on the road.
- The Peacocks have three different three-game home stands during the season.
- Saint Peter's will play games in four states (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland).
- During the non-conference slate, the Peacocks will face teams from the America East (Stony Brook), Big East (Seton Hall), Northeast Conference (Fairleigh Dickinson), Patriot League (Lehigh, Loyola, Lafayette, Navy) and Ivy League (Yale).
NEW TO THE FLOCK… Saint Peter's will have six newcomers eligible to play in 2014-15.
- Rebecca Sparks and Imani Martinez both sat out last season due to NCAA Division I transfer regulations. Sparks played one season at St. Francis (Pa.) before coming to Jersey City. Martinez played one season at Tennessee State before coming to Saint Peter's.
- Freshmen Sajanna Bethea, Talah Hughes, Alyssa Velles and Samantha Meier join the team this season.
FAMILIAR FACES… In addition to six newcomers, the Peacocks also return eight letterwinners from last year's team.
- Senior G Antonia Smith is the lone senior on the team and is the team's top-returning scorer averaging 9.4 points per game. Smith scored in double-figures in 13 games last season.
- Senior G Teresa Corchado appeared in 29 games last season, including 10 starts.
- Junior G Bridget Whitfield averaged 3.7 points and 3.2 rebounds last season as a sophomore. She appeared in all 30 games, including 28 starts.
- Junior F Neechelle Ingram is the team's top-returning rebounder after grabbing 3.6 boards per game last season.
- Junior F Hala Mostafa averaged 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds last season and was among the conference leaders in blocks per game with 1.4.
- Sophomore F Kaycee DeVoogd appeared in 27 games in her freshman season. She shot 85% from the free throw line last year.
- Sophomore G Marcia Senatus averaged 4.8 points in 10 appearances for the Peacocks last season.
KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY… The DeVoogd family tree continues at Saint Peter's. Kaycee DeVoogd is the daughter of Sebastiaan DeVoogd, who played on the men's basketball team. He was the starting center for the 1994-1995 MAAC championship team.
COACHING STAFF… Pat Coyle enters her second season at the helm as Saint Peter's Women's Basketball Head Coach.
