JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's track and field head coach Mike Massone has announced his 2014 outdoor schedule.
"I believe our schedule is suitable for all of our athletes, says Massone, who enters his ninth season at Saint Peter's. "It gives every individual an opportunity to compete at their level of competition."
The squad opens the outdoor campaign on Mar. 20-22 at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina. Following the meet, the team will travel to compete in the Fred Hardy Invitational on Mar. 28-29.
Saint Peter's opens up the month of April at the Sam Howell Invitational on Apr. 5-6. Following the meet, the squad will compete in the Mason Spring Invitational on Apr. 12-13. The team returns to action on Apr. 20 when they compete in the Larry Ellis Invitational. The Peacocks close out the month of April at the Lions' Invitational on Apr. 25-26.
The squad opens up the month of May with the MAAC Outdoor Championships on May 5-6. Following the championships, the team will compete in the IC4A/ECAC Championships on May 12-13. The NCAA East Preliminaries are set for May 24-26, concluding with the NCAA Championships on Jun. 7-9.
