JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's men's basketball game at Manhattan, originally scheduled for Monday night at 7 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Draddy Gym.
The Peacocks (7-13, 3-8 MAAC) are coming off a 71-53 loss against Rider on Friday night on ESPN3 while the Jaspers (14-6, 7-4 MAAC) are coming off an 85-73 loss against Iona on Friday night on ESPNU.
Manhattan defeated Saint Peter's 74-62 in the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 2 at the Yanitelli Center. George Beamon paced the Jaspers with 28 points and 10 rebounds while Desi Washington (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin [Delaware State]) fueled the Peacocks with 17 points.
Beamon leads Manhattan with 19.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Marvin Dominique (Miramar, Fla./Miramar [Fordham]) paces Saint Peter's with 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Jon Schaffer and Chris Radecke will call the action against the Jaspers live from Draddy Gym on the peacocksnetwork.com on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
