Box Score 2 JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Saint Peter's baseball season finale at Manhattan, scheduled for Friday at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, N.Y., has been postponed due to pending weather scheduled to hit the New York-New Jersey area on Friday. The two teams will look to complete the three-game series on Saturday with the Jaspers still fighting for a berth in the conference tournament. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
Manhattan won both games on Thursday to eliminate Saint Peter's from the postseason picture.
The game will also be the final game in a collegiate uniform for seniors Kevin Croucher (Wayne, N.J./DePaul Catholic), Zach Hopf (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge), Ed Mejias (Ocean Township, N.J./Ocean Township), Frank Morris (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman [Seton Hall]), Eric Mozeika (Secaucus, N.J./High Tech) Adam Purcilly (Troy, Mich./Avondale), Jim Smith (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) and Ariel Ramirez (San Domingo, Dominican Republic/Babeque). Hopf pitched a complete-game in the opener on Thursday in his final collegiate start.
