Box Score DOVER, Del. – Delaware State defeated Saint Peter's 3-0 in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday.
Lauren Solene (Fall City, Wash./Mount Si) made three saves for the Peacocks (1-8-0) while Alyssa Rosania (Butler, N.J./Butler) had a team-high four shots in the loss.
Paige Wilcox paced the Hornets (3-8-0) with a goal and an assist while Chelsea Boursiquot and Emma Cain also found the twine. Katelyn Koslosky turned away four shots in the winning effort.
Delaware State scored twice in the first half and once in the second half en route to a 3-0 win.
Wilcox got the scoring when she found the back of the net at the 4:21 mark for a 1-0 edge. Boursiquot increased the margin to two goals off a feed from Taylor Pratcher at 39:09.
Cain sealed the 3-0 win with a tally at the 62:57 mark off helpers from Wilcox and Morgan Pottinger.
Saint Peter's returns to action when the squad hosts LIU Brooklyn on Sunday in the final non-conference game of the year. Match time is 12 p.m.
