RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Jodi Collymore (Middletown, N.Y./Pine Bush) finished 92nd to pace the Saint Peter's women's cross country team at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships on Friday afternoon.
Collymore was the top Peacock finisher for the third time this season when she placed 92nd with a time of 22:45.5 in the 5K race.
Georgie Nicholes (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) (102nd place, 23:24.0), Jackie Anderson (Bay Shore, N,.Y./Bay Shore) (103rd place, 23:26.2), Jovanna Larose (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) (109th place, 24:16.0), Deborah Myrtil (Half Hallow Hills, N.Y./Half Hallow Hills) (118th place, 26:14.2) and Selena Marshall (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) (121st place, 26:57.1) also competed for Saint Peter's on the women's side.
The Peacocks had four men's cross country runners participate with Johannes Guerrero (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) leading the way with 108th-place standing and a time of 32:23.2. Lance Weaver (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) (111th place, 33:09.1), Marlowe Toole (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) (113th place, 36:40.5), Kevin Olaya (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) (114th place, 39:44.8) also ran the 8K race for Saint Peter's.
The Peacocks return to action at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Cross Country Championships on Oct. 30 at Rosedale Park in Pennington, N.J.
