Feneron Finishes Fourth In 200 IM At ECAC Championships To Pace Saint Peter's Swimming And Diving

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Marie Feneron (Molsheim, France/Lycee Henri Meck) finished fourth in the 200 IM to pace the Saint Peter's men's and women's swimming and diving team in the first day of the ECAC Championships on Friday.

Feneron, who won the 200 IM at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships a week ago, finished fourth in the event on Friday with a time of  1:28.87.

Nichiolas Riepe (Middlesex, N.J./Saint Joseph) paced the men's side with an 11th-place standing in the 500 free (4:30.85) while the sophomore teamed up with Manuel Garcia (Mexico City, Mexico/The American Foundation School), Daniel Gayetsky (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) and Alejandro Rubin (Caracas, Venezuela/San Ignacio) to place 14th in the 200-free relay (1:28.87).

The ECAC Swimming And Diving Championships continue on Saturday. Preliminaries start at 10 a.m. each day with the finals at 6 p.m. Feneron will participate in the 400 IM, Rubin will race in the 100 fly while Gayetsky and Riepe will suit up in the 200 free.
