Feneron Wraps Up ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships In Two Finals To Lead Saint Peter's In Last Meet Of The Season

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Sophomore Marie Feneron (Molsheim, France/Lycee Henri Meck) swam in two finals in the final two days of the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships to pace the Saint Peter's swimming team.

The sophomore finished sixth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:20.09 and also played seventh in the 400 IM with a time of 4:30.26.  Feneron opened the championships with a fourth-place standing in the 200 IM (1:28.87). 

Manuel Garcia (Mexico City, Mexico/The American School Foundation) also participated in a final with a sixth-place standing in the 100 fly while Daniel Gayetsky(East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) finished eighth in the 200 fly in the championship heat with a time of 1:52.63. Alejandro Rubin (Caracas, Venezuela/San Ignacio)placed 13th in the 200 fly (1:53.86) to conclude his collegiate career.

The ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships was the final meet for the Peacocks.
