GAME 31: ITEMS OF NOTE
>> Sunday's regular season finale between Saint Peter's and Iona marks 111th meeting in the all-time series dating back to 1946-47 season.
>> The Gaels have won the last four tilts, including rallying for a 68-61 overtime victory on Jan. 31.
>> The Peacocks last win in the series was a 64-62 decision on Dec. 5, 2012.
>> Saint Peter's is 7-11 under head coach John Dunne against the Gaels, including a 3-5 mark at the Yanitelli Center.
>> Iona rallied from a four-point deficit in the final 25 seconds in regulation to earn the win in overtime thanks to 21 points from junior A.J. English and an 18-point, 13-rebound effort by senior David Laury. 
>> The 68 points in the first meeting was the first time the New Rochelle program was held in the 60s this season and now only one of two occasions.

>> Saint Peter's has matched its longest losing streak of the season at four games after falling 69-67 at Marist on Friday. The Peacocks are now 13-17 overall and 7-12 in league play.
>> Washington paced the Peacocks with 20 points while Dominique tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds and senior Jamel Fields added a season-high 10 points.
>> The Gaels comes into the regular season finale 24-6 overall and 17-2 in the circuit after defeating Manhattan 79-75 on Friday for the team's 11th-straight win.
>> English powered Iona with 26 points against the Jaspers. Freshman Schradrac Casimir (15 points), Laury (13 points) and junior Isaiah Williams (12 points) also registered double figures on Friday.
>> Laury leads the team with 20.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
>> Saint Peter's will be playing the final regular season game of year at the Yanitelli Center for the sixth time under Dunne. The Peacocks will be facing Iona in the final game of the year for the third time (2009, 2011) and the second time at home while the Gaels will be Saint Peter's final home game for the third time (2009, 2010) under Dunne. 
>> The Peacocks would like to thank seniors Dominique, Mohamed Farih, Fields, Gaskins, Kris Rolle and Washington for their hard work and dedication to Saint Peter's and the men's basketball team during their time in Jersey City. Farih is the only player to be on the team for all four years while Washington played three years for the Peacocks, and Dominique, Fields, Gaskins and Rolle each joined the squad for the last two season. Saint Peter's will honor the four seniors in a pregame ceremony starting at 1:40 p.m. on Sunday. The six players have scored 2,719 points in a Peacocks uniform.
>> If the Peacocks lose, they will have to wait till the end of the Monmouth-Siena game to find out their seed. That game tips at 4:30 p.m. 
>> Saint Peter's will play in the MAAC Tournament Opening Round for the third-straight season on Mar. 5. The Peacocks will play either at 5 p.m. in the No. 8/9 game or at 7 p.m. as the No. 7 seed in the 7/10 game. 
>> As the No. 7 seed, the Peacocks will face either Fairfield or Marist while in the No. 8/9 game the squad could battle Niagara or Marist depending on how things shape out on Sunday. 
>> Saint Peter's has played Fairfield in the last two MAAC Tournaments and Marist in 2013.
>> If Saint Peter's wins the opening round game on Thursday, the squad will advance to the MAAC Tournament Quarterfinals for the second-straight season. 

PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
>>Saint Peter's will finish seventh, eighth or ninth in the MAAC standings and will be playing in the MAAC Tournament Opening Round for the third-straight year.
>> The Peacocks will be playing either in the 7/10 game as the seventh seed at 7 p.m. or in the 8/9 game 5 p.m. on Mar. 5 in Albany.
>> If the Peacocks fall to Iona, they will not know their seed until after the Monmouth-Siena game which starts at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN 3.

WHAT'S GOES AROUND COMES AROUND?
>> Saint Peter's is 1-5 in games decided by three points or less this season, including 1-3 in MAAC games.
>> Last season the squad was 5-2 in close games and all seven games were decided in the waning seconds of the game, including 4-1 in league games.
>> In four of the five contests, senior Desi Washington hit the game-winner with 3.3 seconds or less left while the MAAC loss came when A.J. English his a 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left in New Rochelle on Feb. 12, 2014.
>> Senior Marvin Dominique has taken the shot with the chance to tie or for the win three times this season while Washington has not had an opportunity this season.

WHAT'S TRENDING
>> Saint Peter's head coach John Dunne will have his fifth attempt at career win number 100 on Friday. Dunne beat Iona on Dec. 4, 2009 56-54 for his 25th win and Ted Fiore notched his 100th win as a Saint Peter's head coach to seal the squad's first MAAC Tournament title in 1991.
>> The Peacocks are 0-5 on ESPN 3 this season in league games. The Jersey City team is 7-7 in league games not shown on the network. The squad was 2-2 on ESPN 3 last season.
>> The four-game losing streak matches the four-game skid the squad started the 2014-15 season. The team ended the skid to start the year with a 69-50 win against Rutgers on Nov. 22 and that started an 8-3 run by Saint Peter's.
>> Senior Desi Washington reached 20 points in a game for the fourth time this season with his 20-point effort against Marist. The squad was 3-0 when the senior scored 20 points prior to the game against the Red Foxes. The senior has recorded double figures in 10 of his last 12 games, including three 20-point performances and four games with at least 18 points in that stretch. Washington is averaging 13.8 points per game in that span. Washington has scored double figures in 17 of 21 games this season. After missing eight games with a hand injury, the senior is averaging 14.1 points per game in the 20 games since returning to the team. 
>> Senior Marvin Dominique recorded his fifth double-double this season and 17th of his career. The squad is 1-4 when he turns the trick this season. Dominique has scored double figures in seven of his last eight games and 11 of his last 12 tilts. During the last eight contests, the senior is averaging 16.1 points per game while over the course of his last 12 games he boasts 15.3 points  per game. In this span, he has posted two 20-point performances and had at least 15 points seven times. Saint Peter's is 10-6 this season when he scores 15 points in a tilt and 4-0 when he reaches 20 points.>> Dominique has also been a force on the boards, grabbing at least seven caroms in eight of his last 12 games and has hauled in at seven rebounds 21 times this season. 
>> Senior Jamel Fields notched 10 points for the first time this season against Marist on Feb. 27. The senior is averaging 9.5 points per game in his last two games.

BY THE NUMBERS
>> The Peacocks are 13-4 when they score 59 points in a game a game and 10-4 when they hold an opponent to 60 points or less.
>> Saint Peter's is 10-7 when the squad makes at least five 3-pointers in a game and 8-4 when the Peacocks shoot at least 40 percent from behind the arc.
>> After making at least five treys in a game in 12 of the first 15 games, the squad has made five 3-balls in a game five times in the last 15 contests and the squad is 5-10 in that stretch.
>> Saint Peter's is also 8-3 when it outrebounds its opponent.

DOMINIQUE GETS MAAC HONOR
>> Senior Marvin Dominique was named the MAAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career for the week of Feb. 9-15. He was also named the Corvias ECAC Upstate/Metro Player of the Week.
>> Dominique averaged 22.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in three games, but it was the senior's dominance in two games that led the Peacocks to a pair of victories in the week. Dominique averaged 26.5 points and 5.5 rebounds to pace Saint Peter's to a pair of second-half comebacks against Siena on Feb. 9 and Niagara on Feb. 12.  
>> The Miramar, Fla., native, shot 64.7 percent (22-for-34) from the field and 24 of 27 (88.9) percent from the free throw line in the three games and that included a 9-for-9 performance from the field and 9 of 10 from the free throw line against the Purples Eagles where his only miss came from the free throw line with 1:08 left in the contest.
>> Dominique became the fifth player under head coach John Dunne to earn MAAC Player of the Week honors and the first since senior Desi Washington on Dec. 16, 2013. It also marks the seventh time under Dunne a player has earned the top weekly honor after Wesley Jenkins received the honor three times while Washington, Todd Sowell and Ryan Bacon each took home the honor once in their careers.

PEACOCK 'NATION'AL PRIDE
>> Saint Peter's ranks 52nd in Division I in scoring defense with 61.0 points per game. The team ranks 76th in field goal defense (40.5).
>> Senior Desi Washington was the MAAC third active career leading scorer with 1,545 points and is also the 58th active leading scorer in all of Division I.
>> Washington also ranks 25th in career 3-pointers made (241), 38th for career free throw percentage (84.1) and 98th in career scoring average (13.8 ppg.).
>> The Peacocks are one of eight teams that haven't allowed more than 75 points in a game this season.  The  72 points Manhattan scored on Jan. 16 was the most points allowed this season.

LET'S KEEP PLAYING
>> Saint Peter's has played four overtime games this season, marking the first time since the 2003-04 season the team has played four overtime contests in a season and the sixth time in program history.
>> The most overtime games in one season was five extra session contests in 1984-85.
>> After winning the its first two overtime games this season, the squad has lost its last two OT contests.
>> The squad played consecutive overtime tilts for the first time since the 2004-05 season after batting Monmouth on Jan. 14 and Quinnipiac on Jan. 16.
>> Saint Peter's is 7-5 in overtime under head coach John Dunne.

MILESTONE WATCH
>> Senior Desi Washington currently has 1,151 points in Jersey City and became the 23rd player in team history to reach 1,100 points in a Peacocks uniform. The senior currently ranks 21st in program history.
>> Senior Marvin Dominique needs 60 points to reach 1,000 points in a Saint Peter's uniform. The senior, who has 503 career rebounds,  has moved into 17th place in the program's career rebounding list. Dominique can move into 16th place with six boards (509).
>> Sophomore Trevis Wyche became the 22nd player in program history to dish out 200 assists in his career with four dimes against Fairfield on Feb. 7. Wyche, who has 225 assists, has moved into the program's Top-20 in assists and can move into 16th place with 15 dimes (240). Wyche is also the first Peacocks player to record consecutive 100 assist seasons since Keydren Clark did it all four years of his career.
>> Head Coach John Dunne has won 99 games in his nine seasons as the head coach of the Peacocks, needing one win to reach the 100 win mark. Dunne would become the fourth head coach to reach the mark, joining Don Kennedy (323), Bob Dukiet (135) and Ted Fiore (151).

HOME SWEET HOME
>> Senior Marvin Dominique is averaging 14.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in 13 home games this season. The senior has scored double figures in 25 of 26 games he has played at the Yanitelli Center, including matching his best performance in Jersey City with 26 points against Siena on Feb. 9. He was held to single digits for the only time in Jersey City against Rider on Jan. 29.
>> Senior Desi Washington has scored double figures in 30 of his 36 games in Jersey City.  The senior has posted double digits in 22 of his last 24 home contests. Washington is averaging 15.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in his seven games this season at home, including a season-high 26 points against Marist on Jan. 4.
>> Senior Tyler Gaskins is also averaging double figures at home this season with 10.2 points per game. The senior has posted six of his 11 double-digit point performances at the Yanitelli Center this season, including a 17 points against Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 23.
>> Saint Peter's is averaging 62.2 points per game at home while allowing 60.2 points per game. The Peacocks are shooting 42.7 percent from the field while the opponents are hitting at a 41.8 percent clip.
>> The squad is 2-1 at home in the month of February this year and 7-1 in the last two years. Monmouth defeated the Peacocks 63-58 on Feb. 19 to end a string of seven-straight won at the Yanitelli Center in February dating back to last season.  
>> Saint Peter's is 6-7 at home this year and 3-6 in league games. With a win, the Peacocks would end the home schedule with a non-losing mark for the second-straight year.

CLOSE CONTESTS
>> After having four of the first eight games being decided by three points or less, 17 of the last 22 tilts have posted a margin of five points or more. 
>> The Peacocks were 2-6 in the first eight games and are 11-11 in the last 20 contests. >> The one-point overtime win against Monmouth on January 14 was the squad's first win this season that was decided by five points or less.
>> Saint Peter's is 9-9 in one-point games under head coach John Dunne in his nine seasons in Jersey City and 28-35 in games decided by five points or less.
>> The Peacocks were 7-5 in games decided by five points or less last season and 3-1 in tilts decided by one point, but have not had the same luck this campaign suffering a one-point loss and three two-point losses.
>> The squad is 1-1 this year in one-point games after falling 51-50 to Hartford on Nov. 16 and then earned its first win with the overtime decision against Monmouth. The squad lost by two points to Niagara (61-59) on Nov. 20, Norfolk State (60-58) on Nov. 29, Marist (69-67) on Feb. 27 and three points to Canisius (70-67) on Dec. 3.

THE SUPPORTING CAST
>> Junior Elias Desport  has scored double-digits three times this year to reach 10 points for the first time in his career.
>> Sophomore Chazz Patterson has posted at least seven points five times this season, including three double-figure games.
>> Senior Jamel Fields and sophomore Trevis Wyche make a great combo at point guard. Fields scored eight points against La Salle on Nov. 22 and has dished out five assists in a game twice this season. Fields posted a season-best 10 points against Marist on Feb. 27.
>> Freshman Elisha Boone played significant minutes off the bench in non-conference and has registered eight points or more three times this season, including an eight-point, nine-board game against the Explorers.
>> Sophomore Travis Hester has posted nine points or more four times including two double-digit contests.
>> Freshman Rodney Hawkins has played in the last 18 games, including posting a career-high 14 points and six rebounds against Manhattan on Jan. 2.

DOMINANT DOMINIQUE
>> Senior Marvin Dominique has recorded double figures in 52 of the 61 games in a Peacocks uniform. He has posted at least 15 points in 29 of those contests, 20 points in 13 tilts and 30 points in one game.
>> Dominique has also been a force on the boards, notching 17 games with double-digits in boards and in each of those games also registered a double-double.
>> The senior notched a career-high 31 points along with 14 rebounds in his first game in a Saint Peter's uniform against LIU Brooklyn on Nov. 9, 2013.
>> He had a career-high 16 boards vs. Niagara on Dec. 3, 2013.
>> Dominique recorded double figures in points  in 18 of the 20 non-conference games at Saint Peter's and has registered double digits in 35 of the 39 league games.
>> Dominique notched his 1,000th career point on a free throw with 7.1 seconds left in regulation against Iona on Jan. 31. He has posted 940 of his 1,114 points in a Peacocks uniform.

NO COMPLAINTS FROM LUCY
>> Senior Desi Washington has scored double figures 66 times in his Saint Peter's career, including 35 times with 15 points or more, 14 games with at least 20 points and two 30-point performances
>> The senior is also a threat from behind the arc, leading the team in 3-pointers in a game 57 times.
>> Washington scored a career-high 34 points against Seton Hall on Dec. 14, 2013.
>> Washington scored his 1,000th career point in a Saint Peter's uniform on January 14 against Monmouth after reaching 1,000 points for his career against Canisius on Jan. 4, 2014.

ASSISTING WYCHE
>> Sophomore Trevis Wyche has fueled the team in assists in 46 of the 61 games in his career. He has led the team in assists 15 times this season.
>> Wyche became the first player since Keydren Clark against Marist on Jan. 25, 2006 to hand out 10 assists in a game when he had 10 dimes against Boston University on Dec. 6. It was also the first time a player reached the feat on the road since Clark did it in 2004.
>> The sophomore has dished out at least five assists in a game 22 times in his two seasons and seven or more seven times.
>> He also fueled the team in steals 19 times and notched a personal-best four thefts against Siena on Jan. 25.
>> Wyche recorded double figures in points 16 times in his career.
>> The sophomore notched a career-best 16 points in both contests against Quinnipiac last season.
>> Wyche has scored a season-high 12 points three times this season.

WELTON THE ROAD WARRIOR
>> Sophomore Quadir Welton has posted 13 games with at least 10 points and four games with at least 10 rebounds.
>> Welton has scored double digits 10 times this season. 
>> The sophomore has reached a personal-best 16 points three times in his career. After reaching the milestone in both of his season openers against LIU Brooklyn on Nov. 9, 2013 and Brown on Nov. 14, 2014, Welton posted 16 points against Boston University on Dec. 6.
>> He has reached double figures nine times on the road and three times at home.
>> Welton has scored double figures in consecutive games three times this season after not accomplishing the feat as a freshman.
>> The sophomore surpassed his career best in rebounds with 13 boards at Quinnipiac on Jan. 2

GARDEN STATE OF MIND
>> Saint Peter's has played six of the other seven Division I teams located in the state of New Jersey.
>> Saint Peter's is currently 4-3 against the Garden State with wins against Rutgers (68-50, Nov. 22), Princeton (60-46, Dec. 10), Fairleigh Dickinson (69-60, Dec. 23) and Monmouth (62-61 OT, Jan. 14). The squad has losses to Seton Hall (67-52, Dec. 14), Monmouth (63-58, Feb. 19) and Rider (68-55, Jan. 10, 58-49, Jan. 29).
>> The squad also battled NJIT in preseason, but the two teams will not meet in the regular season.
>> The Peacocks have never played all seven New Jersey teams in the same season. This season marks the third time under head coach John Dunne the team will have played six of the seven New Jersey teams.

WRAPPING UP NON-CONFERENCE 
>> Saint Peter's finished the non-conference slate 6-5 to post its third non-conference winning mark under head coach John Dunne in his tenure as head coach.
>> The Peacocks also posted a winning non-conference mark under Dunne in 2012-13 and 2010-11.
>> After losing the first three non-conference games, Saint Peter's won six of its final eight non-conference games.
>> The Peacocks were one of five league teams to finish the non-conference slate with a winning record.

>> Senior Tyler Gaskins recorded a career-high 20  points and freshman Rodney Hawkins had a personal-best 14 points against Manhattan on Jan. 7.
>> Junior Elias Desport posted a career-best 12 points against Seton Hall on Dec. 14.
>> Sophomore Quadir Welton has matched his career high of 16 points twice this year after reaching the mark versus Brown on Nov. 14 and Boston University on Dec. 6. The sophomore also grabbed a career-best 13 boards against Quinnipiac on Jan. 2.
>> Sophomore Trevis Wyche had a career-best 10 assists against Boston University on Dec. 6.
>> Freshman Elisha Boone produced a career-best 11 points against Canisius on Dec. 3.
>> Sophomore Travis Hester recorded a personal-best 15 points in that contest.
>> Sophomore Chazz Patterson posted a career-best 13 points against Rutgers on Nov. 25.

PRESEASON HONORS
>> Senior Marvin Dominique was named to the All-MAAC Preseason first team. The senior averaged 16.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game last season.
>> Senior Desi Washington was selected to the All-MAAC Preseason second team. Washington was second  with 13.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last year.
>> Saint Peter's was picked fourth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll. Iona, Siena and Manhattan were the three teams picked ahead of the Peacocks.

THE 20-POINT CLUB
>> Seniors Tyler Gaskins, Marvin Dominique and Desi Washington are the only three players on the roster that have posted a 20-point game in their career in Jersey City.
>> Dominique has scored at least 20 points in a game 13 times in his career and that includes one 30-point performance. The senior has four 20-point games this season.
>> Washington has also registered 14 games with at least 20 points in his Peacocks career, including two 30-point games. Washington has three 20-point games this season.
>> Gaskins joined the 20-point club by scoring 20 points for the first time in his career against Manhattan on Jan. 7.
>> Senior Jamel Fields has also posted 20 points in his career, but he accomplished the mark at Fairfield.
>> Saint Peter's is 44-39 when a player has a 20-point performance under head coach John Dunne.
>> A player has scored at least 30 points in a game five times under Dunne.

BOARDS UP
>> Senior Marvin Dominique and sophomore Quadir Welton are the only players on the roster that have reached double-figures in rebounds.
>> Dominique has posted 10+ rebounds 17 times in his career while Welton has done it four times.
>> Senior Kris Rolle came close to reaching double-digit boards when he hauled in nine caroms against Siena on Jan. 23, 2013.

DOUBLE VISION
>> Senior Marvin Dominique and sophomore Quadir Welton are the only players on the roster that have posted double-doubles in their career.
>> Dominique leads the team with 17 double-doubles in his career while Welton has two double-double in career.

AGAINST THE BIG DOGS
>> Head coach John Dunne has wins against Alabama, Rutgers and Seton Hall in four of the last five seasons.
>> The Peacocks defeated Alabama 50-49 on Nov. 22, 2010 during the USVI Paradise Jam.  The squad then opened the 2012-13 season with a 56-52 win against Rutgers on Nov. 9, 2012, won a thriller 83-80 in overtime against Seton Hall on Dec. 14, 2013 and then posted a 68-50 win against Rutgers on Nov. 25.
>> The squad has beat Rutgers in back-to-back games for the first time in team history and improved to 3-3 under Dunne against the Scarlett Knights.

>> Senior Desi Washington hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the final 3.3 seconds of a game four times last year. 
>> After he hit the game-winning 3-pointer in a 55-52 overtime win against Fairfield in the MAAC Tournament First Round, Washington was the buzz on ESPN for the next couple of days.
>> Sports Center showed all three game-winners right before its nightly Top-10 on Mar. 6 and then the live edition of Sports Center produced a three-minute segment the next morning where the guard's heroics against the Stags were compared to Reggie Miller against the Knicks, Eli Manning against the Patriots and David Ortiz against the Yankees. The ESPN show Around The Horn had a short segment on Washington on and College Game Day also touched on the subject.
>> Washington's first game-winner against Fairfield in the regular season was the No. 9 Play of the Day in the Top-10 countdown. 
>> Washington's heroics were also covered by Yahoo Sports and Sports Illustrated. 
>> The senior also hit the game-winning 3-pointer in an 83-80 overtime win against Seton Hall to end a 17-game losing streak against the Pirates, but that shot did not get the fan fare that the three against Fairfield received.

ALL IN THE FAMILY
>> Senior Kris Rolle and sophomore Quadir Welton both have relatives that have seen time in the professional ranks. 
>> Rolle's cousin is New York Giants' safety Antrel Rolle. The safety was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals before he signed a five-year contract with the Giants in 2010 and was a member of the Super Bowl XLVI championship team. 
>> Welton's uncle is former NBA star Rasheed Wallace. Wallace played 16 seasons in the NBA for Washington (1995-96), Portland (1996-04), Atlanta (2004), Detroit (2004-09), Boston (2009-10) and New York Knicks (2012-13). Wallace, a four-time All-Star won an NBA title with Detroit in 2004.
