JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's has announced changes to the baseball and softball schedule for this weekend due to field conditions.
The softball doubleheader against Quinnipiac, originally scheduled for Saturday in Hamden, Conn., has been moved to Jaroschak Field in Jersey City, due to field conditions at the Quinnipiac Softball Field. First pitch is set for 11 a.m.
The baseball three-game series against Niagara, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Lewistown, N.Y., has also been moved to Jaroschak Field due to field conditions at Bobo Field. The series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12 p.m., consisting of a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning affair. The three-game set will conclude on Sunday with a nine-inning game starting at 12 p.m.
Both the Peacocks' baseball and softball teams will make their Jaroschak Field debut this weekend.
