VERONA, NY - The Peacocks opened the 2016-17 season placing 14th (320-328-311=959, +95) in the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate Tournament.
Sophomore Mike Winter finished with a Saint Peter's best, 230 (75-79-76, +14) and finished the tournament T41st.
Following Winter in the standings were Ryan Rodriguez who finished T47th and a posted a score of 233 (78-82-73, +17), Stanley Garrant finishing in 70th with a score of 247 (87-81-89, +31), Dominic Diaz which finished 74th with a 253 (80-86-87, +37), and Jose Cardona finished 76th scoring a 266 (95-88-83, +50).
Tournament host Missouri, won the tournament for the fifth consecutive year, shooting a 12-under-par (283-290-279= 852). Kavan Eubank of Texas A&M was the top individual finisher shooting an 8-under-par (65-73-70= 208).
The Peacocks return to the green on Saturday, Sept. 10th, when they take on St. John's.
