Men's Tennis Closes Season at Saint Joseph's

JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University men's tennis team returns to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for their final match of the season. The match is set to start at 2:00pm against Saint Joseph's on Sunday, April 23.

 

Last Time Out - The Peacocks honored their seniors on Saturday against Niagara University but lost 7-0. Douglas Nover won the first set, 6-4 and Cuong Lam was able to win his second set in a tiebreak, 7-6(1). Both players ultimately fell in their respective matches at No. 3 and No. 6.

 

History - The men's team fell to Saint Joseph's in the Yanitelli Recreational Life Center Bubble on February 21, 2016, 5-2.

 

Scouting - The Hawks are 11-10 on the year with a 4-5 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference. They have wins against mutual opponents: Lafayette, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, Fordham, La Salle, and MAAC teams Siena and Fairfield.
