Box Score 2 WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY – The Saint Peter's University baseball team dropped both games of Thursday's doubleheader to Manhattan College at Dutchess Stadium.
Game 1
Anthony Ramos (North Bergen, NJ/North Bergen) had a stellar game for the Peacocks, going 3-for-4 in the first contest. Brian Turton (Jefferson, NJ/Jefferson Township) recorded the teams only RBI, in the top of the ninth when he hit a single up the middle that scored Hunter Mason (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee).
As a team, the Peacocks had eight hits in the contest as they fell to the Jaspers 19-1 in the game.
Game 2
In game two, Jake Regina (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford (Gloucester CC)) went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Peacocks, while Hunter Mason (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) logged one hit and one run. The Peacocks also got an RBI from Paul Schifilliti (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) in the contest.
The Peacocks dropped the second game of the day, 12-2 to the Jaspers.
Saint Peter's baseball will be back in action on Saturday for the final game of the series and 2017 season. First pitch is set for noon.
