WESTFIELD, NJ - For the second consecutive day, Saint Peter's men's tennis team fell 6-1, falling to Delaware today. The team's overall record drops to 2-12.
Singles Results - Knezevic went undefeated on the day as he won at No. 5 against Jones, 4-6, 6-3, [11]-[9]. Jacome was defeated by Verma, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 1. Sowinski suffered a setback to Dustin Britton at No. 2, 6-2, 6-1. Oxner lost to Wong at No. 3, 6-3, 6-4. Tintore was on the losing end at No. 4 against Casselbury, 6-3, 6-2.
Sebastian Ferrer fell to Lankes, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 6.
Up Next - The Saint Peter's men's tennis team, along with the women's tennis team, will host Sacred Heart in West Haven, CT at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on the campus of Yale University on Sunday, March 18. First serve is set for 12 noon.
