Box Score 2 JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's softball team dropped a doubleheader to the Fairfield Stags on Sunday afternoon at Jaroschak Field. The Peacocks dropped the first game, 3-0 and the second game, 10-1.
"We continue to put quality games together in conference," said head coach
Chris Stelma. "We had a great outing from our pitching staff and these girls have great energy every game. We would like to thank the players from Kaboom for coming out as well!"

Brianna Verrastro led the team with two hits and one RBI. Freshman,
Natasha Solano made an appearance and logged a stolen base.
The Peacocks scored their lone run in the bottom of the fourth inning after Verrastro singled and advance Michelle Kungelman to third base which allowed
Nicole Feoli to score a run. The Peacocks were unable to cut the deficit and the Stags won the game 10-1.

The Peacocks will host the Wagner Hawks on Tuesday, April 10. The Doubleheader is scheduled to start at. 2 p.m.
