HAMPDEN, Mass. – The Saint Peter's University men's golf team concluded its three-day showing at the UConn Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at GreatHorse in Massachusetts. Redshirt freshman Jimmy Apostolico wound up as the Peacocks' top performer after shooting four-over 76 for the third and final round and a team-low 13-over for the tournament, while the team, as a whole, placed 12th.

Player Notes
- All five golfers for Saint Peter's wound up within nine strokes of each other, as Apostolico led the charge to wind up as the team's top finisher in a tournament for the first time this fall. He placed in a tie for 32nd when it was all said and done.
- Junior Jeffrey Peters, sophomore Melvin Morales and senior captain David Powers all finished tied with one another as the next-closest Peacock performers at 16-over for the tournament, as all were tied for 44th on the individual leader board.
- Peters (81) and Morales (80) posted scores just over 80, while Powers wrapped up his second straight round in the 70s range after registering a six-over 78.
- Finally, senior captain Stanley Garrant shot an 80 to stay consistent for the tournament, going 79-79-80--238 to place inside the top-70.
- The Peacocks' three-day team total of 58-over-par bested both Canisius (+60) and Wagner (+76) in the tournament's 14-team field.
