BUFFALO, NY – 12 Saint Peter's men's and women's swimming & diving student-athletes have been named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic teams, announced by the league today.
Of the 12 swimmers, nine came from the men's team while the women's team had three earn the honor. The men's swimmers include
Brian Bates,
Arthur Bertrand,
Daniel Betts,
Andrew Galarza,
Dino Jajcanin,
Oleksiy Polishchuk,
Andrew Valentino,
Joshua Varrie, and
Jonathan Veintimilla. The women's swimmers are
Alexandria Thomas,
Brianni Thomas, and
Mandy Williams.
A total of 184 student-athletes were named to the 2019 MAAC Swimming & Diving All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
