Swimming & Diving Releases 2021-22 Schedule

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- The Saint Peter's men's and women's swimming and diving teams are gearing up for six meets during the upcoming 2021-22 season, which gets underway Saturday, Oct. 16 in Brooklyn against Long Island University.

The meet at LIU will be the team's first since the Peacocks earned 11 medals at the 2020 MAAC Championships -- marking 609 days between team competitions for the squad after last year's COVID-canceled season.

Under first-year head coach Chris Cipolla, the Peacocks will contest two more meets in 2021. Both the men's and women's teams will head to the New York City borough once again for a meet at Saint Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, Nov. 6, then the women's team will swim at Kean University in Union, N.J. on Saturday, Nov. 20.

Saint Peter's returns home to the Yanitelli Center with two January meets -- taking on Monmouth University on Saturday, Jan. 22 and hosting Wagner College at a date that is still to be determined.

The Peacocks are back at the MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 9-12, which will take place at Erie Community College's Burt Flickinger Athletic Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
