JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has unveiled its 2021 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday. Four student-athletes from the Saint Peter's University men's cross country program were honored.
Juniors David Szaro and Luis Santizo are joined by sophomores Phillip Reguinho and Francisco Rodas for the Peacocks. They have been recognized among the 121 total student athletes league-wide for their contributions in the classroom and on the track.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
The 2021 MAAC Cross Country Championships take place this Saturday, October 30th from the Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. For all updates, follow #MAACXC on social media and visit maacsports.com.
